Status: offline My wife and I are looking at buying one of the two....maybe. I'm going to look at a black Saleen this afternoon. Sticker is $47k. What are these cars ACTUALLY selling for? It has 375hp and 415tq. What about the Cobras? I haven't found one yet but what are they going for?

Status: offline Your best bet would be the 03 cobra. they r going for around 35 and up. the saleen s281 supercharged is sweet but 375 vs the cobra's 390 ain't nothing especially since the cobra is cheaper!!!

Status: offline Well, if I HAD to, I'd get the Cobra......ugly little beast...my buddy has one and it's outright scary. Now if I HAD my choice, I'd get smart and buy a Subaru STI....Now don't get upset, you know that a stock WRX puts a mean hurt on a stock 4.6 L....(BTW, that cracks me up that a car with an engine less than half the displacement can do that).....At least just go drive a WRX before you buy....

Status: offline IF IT WERE ME, DEFINITELY GET THE 03 COBRA. 5.0 MUSTANG DID A TEST ON AN 03 COBRA WITH LONG TUBES, FLOWMASTER TWO-CHAMBERS AND 3 INCH PIPING AND IT GAINED 55 HORSES! THAT'S ALOT OF HIDDEN POWER IN THAT BEAST, PLUS THE INTERIOR IS NICER AND DOESN'T HAVE ALL THE RAZZLE-DAZZLE BODY CLADDING LIKE THE SALEEN.

Status: offline i would go for the cobra, big t is right, there is a lot of hidden power in that machine. as for the wrx driver, don't worry, i used to suffer from the same disease as you. i used to have an RX-7 twin turbo. it would totally have smoked u, but that's not the prob. i woke up when i was sitting at the light next to a beautiful rummbling 90' 5.0. i reved it nice and loud( so i thought), and he responed with authority, followed by a massive ass raping. one of these days you will find your way

Status: offline I bought the Cobra (2 weeks ago). I drove the S281 (also in black - my Cobra is silver) and it was nice. If they were the same price I would've gone with the Saleen (even though it was only 5 speed). My car is faster and I saved over $10K (looks like upgrades to me). Hope this helps.

Status: offline I would say if you want handeling.. get a steeda, but i would get a cobra just becuase it has more power. I don't like the saleen as much as i like those 2. Wrx fag why don't you go run your rally car into a tree?
