i watched it that night, i am glad he embarrassed that old fool. he needs to go back to brazil where the gracie family can dictate the rules in their favor like usual. Gracie said he would be back, i would be willing to be it is not in the UFC, he will get pummeled by alot less than hughes.

What a stupid comment to say.......If it wasn't for the Gracie's....There wouldn't be NO FREAKING UFC.....They started it all...and believe me...If you don't know BJJ your nothing in the world of mixed martial arts. Dana White wanted to make Matt Hughes look like he's the greatest thing since sliced bread...well in my opinon in order for Hughes to cement his legacy...He must beat B. J. Penn.....The man that made Matt Hughes quit.
The Gracie's could have easily kept the secrets of BJJ to themselve and kept on dominated the world of martial arts....but they didn't...they started teaching their secrets to everyone else....So instead of putting them down you should see them for what they are...PIONEERS OF THE MARTIAL ART's world......Bruce Lee once said back in the 70's....a average boxer with some good wrestling can beat any martial artist.............I hold the Gracies on the same level as the Legendary Bruce Lee.....They knew what it takes to be effective in the fight game.

Hey moron, they were touting that gracie would make a triumphant comeback and of course royce was talking sh1t. He got what he desreved. If you would like to refute that gracies usually fight were they can set the rules, like in their heyday, you go right ahead. This was nothing more than a gimmick for the UFC and i think it was hokey and un-needed. Many of the UFC fans probably dont even know who gracie was, if they werent on the reality show, they dont care. the point is, yes, he was king in the early days when the braz ju-jitz ruled, but now, he is a tired old dude who should have stayed in the teaching or coaching ranks. Do you really think he will comeback to the UFC? say what you want about hughes, when he wants to win ( i say that cause i was at his loss to BJ Penn and he looked disinterested as he got whupped) , noone can touch him.

they didnt MAKE the ufc. Alot of different things made the ufc. I agree with him to a certain extent, hoyce was talking all this sh!t about how he was gonna woop hughs and he had no chance. Well...... look what happened. I agree with matt hughs when he said that todays ufc fighters are in a whole nother leage (sp) than those old fighters. (if that made any sense at all)
