Yeah, I'm hearing double invoice from some dealers... My local dealer is going to action off the first Shelby they get..

The dealer by my house was saying in the 70's, and he's only getting one Coupe and one 'Vert.

I read in one of the Mustang Mags out this month that they are going to be STARTING at $20K over invoice.

and my salesman said the messed up thing is that even if they sell one they dont get a percentage like normal, they will only get $1000 bonus, so someone will be making ALOT of money, but it wont be the salesman.

I spoke to someone @ SVT the other day & he said they had a contract w/Shelby for 7 - 10k units a year for 3 yrs. He said it could be extended another 1-2 yrs, depending on demand. An interesting thing he said is that the initial production was slow because Eaton can't supply the superchargers fast enough.

That is alot of money. I wish the performance justified the $$$, but it doesn't.
I was excited about the car when they said it was going to have a twin screw blower.
But the heaton just doesn't make the grade and the car is too heavy.
I am sticking with my 04 for a long time.

The dealer near me (Bob Bell Ford) just delivered their first one yesterday. I was heading back to work on my lunch break and saw it heading to the gas station to be filled up. It is definitely one mean looking car. I just wish I could have gotten a picture (or a race).

hell if i had the money i wud pay 20k over the invoice...they will be rare (atleast i hope they are, since i will never be able to afford 1 i hope they stay rare and 1 of a kind....but still enuff out there 1 c every once and a while) so i wud deff jump on that

I got a Shelby coming and paid $5K over sticker in Omaha. Hopefully will arrive Oct/Nov.
