I know this has nothing to do with auidio/video, but I was wondering if anyone knows how to bypass the clutch in a 2006.
I looked everywhere and cannot find a wire diagram. We normally have them at work. Unfortunately I do not know how
or what to test for. Anyway, i got the alarm installed, but haven't gotten the remote start to work. Any help from you tekkies
would be greatly appreciated...

You can...but....
It kills the warranty, and if you park your car without the break on, and remote crank it on a hill, guess what...bye bye new 06.
Luckily where i live in louisiana, there is no such thing as a hill. But they will keep bucking forward if you leave it in gear. I didn't think it would void the warranty though.
what kind of starter do you have?
there is a way to make your own neutral safety switch...not too hard...and also some of the newer cars have a wire at the ecu or pcm that will basically act like a neutral safety wire...
the subaru wrx for example had a wire that would read ground when the car was in neutral but switch when ever you put it into any gear (it might have read 12v and switched to ground....i don't remember) but you used that for neutral safety and your car wouldn't start when left in gear...i had 2 wrx's and it worked on both...
the method of making your own involves locating some magnetic switches like you can find at radioshack on your shifter....its a pain to align but once you get it they work beautifully!

oops i forgot about clutch type....i believe there are currently 4 different types....i'd do some research on clutch types and you should locate diagrams showing the different types and how to test them....i have an old as! autocommand wiring book that shows them....if you can't find info let me know and i'll try to get you the info!
well, i have an idea of how to do it, but i was hoping someone could spell it out for me. The clutch is going to read 12 volts when pressed down and negative when up. I know i will have to use a relay between the clutch and the neutral safety switch. Thing is i've never tried to do it before, and was hoping someone on here has. I hate learning on my own car. It's much better to learn on stranger's cars. lol
I put one one my ranger years ago by using a safety switch that unfortunatly isn't made anymore. As for bypassing the clutch I hit the starter selinoid(sp?). It was easy to do on my ranger as it was on the drivers fender, I am not sure where it is in the mustang.
i don't know about on the mustang but on most 5 speeds the is still a switch somethere under the clutch. i will look tomorrow and let you know. if there is a switch you can just duct tape it so that that the contacts are made.

Dude, duct tape has NO use in car audio........... And by doing that you would also make your cruise control inoperable. I tried to bypass the clutch by going to the clutch switch as well on my ranger but had no success, just go to the selenoid and do not take any audio or car advise that involves duct tape and can we please stop giving advise on how to rig yer car with duct tape??????????
he asked for advice and i gave him my input. its up to him if he want to do it that way.
