Went online and found some kits for the mustang

http://www.turbo-kits.com/mustang_turbo_kits.html

http://www.ststurbo.com/2005__mustang_twin

THats all i found so far. A bit pricey for me. But if your looking for HUGE horsepower then turbo is the way to go.

As far as that power... If you want huge, unuseable, peak horsepower, then yeah, get a turbo.

Turbo-Kits has a Single Turbo kit for our cars for $3850

If you want to do a turbo, just go single. There is no point in doing a double.

Can't exactly cruise off-boost with a supercharger. And when you're trying to go fast, who uses the 1000-2500rpm range?

Twin turbo = smaller turbos providing the same flow = less lag + more headroom for upgrades

I would vote turbo. The 411 turbo i beleive is spooled before 3000 rpm.

Yes the PowerHouse turbo hits full boost by 2900 RPM on the dyno, I know first hand. Twin turbos are only effective if you want to produce huge amounts of power (ie over 1000hp) on the street and still have it spool quickly. Otherwise twin turbos just cost more and add weight to the front of the car.

I think twin turbo's done right can produce modest amounts of power effectively. I don't see why you could just gain 120 horsepower or so with 5PSI of boost and be good.

Twin turbos won't produce any more power than a single turbo at the same boost level as long as the turbo is working within its capabilities. I can't see spending $7k+ for twin turbos for 5psi.
