Default Baby seat in 06 Mustang

I just bought my dream car so of course my husband and I decided we want to have kids now (not exactly a good "mommy mobile")
Does anyone here have small children? I am wondering how a baby seat will fit/work in the small backseat I have (b/c I am NOT getting rid of my stang!). Just curious as to how much of a pain it will be.

thanks!

I have a 3 year old her seat is behind the passenger side which makes it a little scrunchy for your passanger if you have one it mostly depends how tall they are. But it does work I wouldnt give mine up either.

Just be sure to have some type of support between the car seat and the seat itself or it will dig into the seat, thus making itself one with the seat.

You can also check with your local police dept. Most Pds have babyseat experts that can check it to make sure its placed correctly.

I am Hogpowrs wife, and a mother of two under 2 years old... We bought our first 05 Mustang the weekend before my first son was born and initally installed the baby seat behind the passenger... and me being the passenger when we go out as a family was difficult... the car seat does not fit real well, the passenger will be schrunched...

we the put the car seat in the middle using both back seat belts and the passenger can be more comfortable, I also checked with our PD and they said it was even be better putting it to one side, if you are in an accident the child is safer in the middle of any vehicle...

Now that we have had our second we are back to the infant behind the passenger and the toddler behind the driver...

I would also not recommend a vert, we had one for about four months and my toddler did not do well with the wind and sun... he would not leave his hat or sunglasses on.. We are ver happy with our coupe....

Kind of interesting it even works in the middle like that, well one good reason for only having one kid.

Yeah, I'd put an INFANT seat in the middle using the two outboard LATCH points. If its a TODDLER seat you can fit two easily.
