wow i installed it
my new MRT is on
WTF is that man you people told me its loud but i did not think that it will be that loud
man people are looking et me like WTF is that ferrari
after 3000 rpm that sound is like the 360 modena
wow man
the only thing thats bathering me is that there is some deep sound inside on the low rpm ones you pass 3000 rpm its so cool
but i love it
i just drove it for 3 hours and man that MRT sounds mean

got some story for you

i was on the highway and i see mustang coming from my back
so i slowed down
it was having a gt lights on the front so i thought its the gt
i hit my gas and there we go the race is on
WTF that mustang was slower then i was thinking what is going on why is that mustang slower and its gt
next thing i know the gt starts giving me flashy lights so i slowed down
then the guy opens the window and start asking me what muffler i got on
so i told him MRT but we still driving 70 mph
he said i love the way how it sounds and he told me that he just put on flowmaster
i told him let me hear it and i let him drive buy
ok the next thing i see is one single muffler and i was like WTF its a V6 with gt grill
so now i understood what is going on
i hit my gas again and i passed him but we didnt race any more so he was telling me how he loves the sound and that he wants one
so now he is going 2 change the flowmaster for MRT
man i am telling you if you like loud the MRT is louder the duals
ok that is my post for now

i will post some pictures and video clips soon
cant record now we have rain
see ya all soon

MRT sells resonators now, they will help you with your drone.

Call MRT for more info, but it installs between the muffler and H-pipe. Just like another muffler!

So does the resonator just decrease interior drone or does it decrease the outside sound as well?

I installed an Aeroturbine resonator with the MRT axleback and it decreased the sound outside but not as much inside. It is still very loud with a killer dash rattle and an overall interior buzz when accelerating at about 1900 to 2000 rpms. I called MRT about this problem about two weeks ago and they said they were experimenting with a resonator but they were not for sale so I don't how anybody got one. I am very dissappointed in the MRT muffler as I cannot find a fix for the killer dash rattle and overall buzz it makes inside the car . I have already spent an extra 150 bucks on the resonator and having it installed so I guess I'am stuck with it for awhile.

Honestly, it seems really loud at first, but you do get used to it. There are times when I actually wish mine was louder. lol

the MRT have 2 find something that eliminates the drone
or they are going 2 get some problems from people
what if you have 2 drive for all day
you have 2 put the plugs in your ears
i dont know but the drone is killing me

If all else fails.... I installed a MAC axle back and the interior noise was deafening to say the least, the install was a bitch, nothing lined up had to cut crossover to align and weld it and a rod to use oem hangers.
To reduce the noise and cabin vibes I insulated the trunk and tire well( pull spare first) I also sprayed the outside of the trunk with rubberized undercoating and sound deadener available anywhere.
Dont buy that stuff they sell (DYNAMAT) I think its called, too expensive and it dont work, If you notice, there is no sound deadener anywhere near the back of the car, pull the carpet in the trunk and youll see, all this bare metal makes the whole cabin vibrate and drone, by reflecting and absorbing the outside noise, I reduced the problem by at least 1/3 or more. If you use undercoating inside, fair warning, it needs to dry and cure with the lid open to eliminate the smell, at least 24 hours and it will linger for a while. But if you use any light weight insulation in the inside, like cheap in/outdoor carpet under the stock carpet, and around the wheel well, it should help allot. Plus no smell. If you have an old piece of carpet or anything that will insulate, pull the trunk carpet, lay on top, cut a pattern, and install under oem carpet. do the same for wheel well.Cheap try, maybe big gain. My 2 cents!
