Default first time at the track

this was the first time running the stang at the track. im pretty impressed with my times but need to be faster.

ill up load my time slips later but here is what i got

rt .585 (perfect .500)
60ft 2.124
14.170
97.414 mph

rt .614
60ft 2.079
14.234
96.059

not bad if u are stock. mustve hooked up prety decent too. i was running 14.7@96 when i first got mine

slp lm, slp catted x pipe, mac pulleys, 3.73 gears, accufab 70mm tb/plenum, diablosport predator.
still had some wheel spin but it seemed to hook up nice

Still has way more in it and your trap is way off from what it should be.

Did you play with the clutch? Those are some very decent times for the first time at track. Very nice 60' times. Don't you trap higher if you spin the wheels a little bit?

its auto dont have a clutch...

u think so???? i sure as hell hope. i was launching around 2000rpm. would taking traction conrol off maybe help, i know it did on a front wheel drive car

i need to beat my dads 99vette. 13.3 was his best.. i know i have along way

hmm, I ran a 14.2 at 98 with only headers and exhaust with a worse 60ft. I am a vert also. You should be running faster than that with those mods. I would say high 13's are possible.
