View Full Version : My New Ride! 98 Mustang!! I need ideas!
Lexie Moon 05-23-2006, 12:09 AM Hello everyone!! I just bought a 98 Mustang a couple weeks ago!! (All white, Black Windows, and of course the spoiler!) I LOVE it!! I need ideas on what to do... I want to make it stand out and be instantly recognizable! *evil grin* Any all all feedback is Welcome! Thanks for your help in advance.
sprostang 05-23-2006, 12:29 AM Get a new set of wheels first. The stock wheels are really ugly. [:'(] Then blackout the head and taillights. :D
Lexie Moon 05-23-2006, 12:35 AM Been looking at those Head and taillights the past week!! They are awesome!! As for the wheels... So many options! lol
kraz3y 05-23-2006, 04:40 AM 18 inch rims, lowered ride, tinted/blackout headlights n taillights, some slap aka 12's 10's or 15's subs bumpin in ur trunk lol
Lexie Moon 05-23-2006, 11:14 AM Lol... got the kick *** Stereo and Sub! ;) Hmm... lower... no.. its already low!! ;) As for the tented lights... been looking at them.. I'll be posting pics as I change/add stuff :)
Brady98GT 05-23-2006, 11:59 AM Blackout head and tail lights are a must. Lower it with eibach springs, like me and get some 18 inch cobra r wheels. I'm really not a fan of the rims that are on there, no offense
Lexie Moon 05-23-2006, 12:01 PM No offense taken. :) They will be changed.. just gotta find something that strikes me look wise!! :D But why lower it?
penceman 05-23-2006, 01:34 PM Get black Cobra R wheels. With the other black accents it will look awesome.
hwest 05-23-2006, 02:23 PM No doubt about it, cobra rims and blackout headlights are a must! If you lower it don't go too much!
Lexie Moon 05-23-2006, 09:28 PM Black Cobra? Interesting! Got a link? ;) Can't wait to have it all decked out the way I want it!!
As for lowering it.. it sits real low already.. I'd bottom out.. so lowering it... I don't think I will do. lol
Lexie Moon 05-23-2006, 09:31 PM Switched replies lol
Yep, the black while look good! ;) I'll post pics as I make the changes.. love hearing peoples ideas.. even more when they mesh with mine!! ;)

Mustang_Ali 05-25-2006, 01:54 PM Just my opinion, but I think the taillights would look better blacked out, only if you're going to do the headlights as well.
Lexie Moon 05-25-2006, 01:59 PM Of course the headlights too ;) It would look silly otherwise ;) As for blacking them out.. I've read some people are having trouble keeping the bubbles out...?
hookedonkronik 05-25-2006, 03:14 PM hey man you lower it because the fender gap is toooo high and looks ridiculous
Lexie Moon 05-25-2006, 03:49 PM I think mine was already lowered a bit before I bought it. Been to rainy here in Oregon to really take time to look at what all has been done to it before it became mine.

Please do not get those gay lights... Just get some Vht nightshades and spray tint them.
vponymike6 05-26-2006, 04:44 AM congrats man
those wheels have got to go! put a scoop on the hood, that will add a LOT to the appearence

Lexie Moon 05-26-2006, 09:47 PM Ouch! lol.. okay.. one vote is a no! ;)
Lexie Moon 05-26-2006, 09:48 PM Yep, agreed the rims need replacing.. like the tires tho ;) A scoop.. hmm... maybe. Still need to figure in a paint job too!! Ka ching!
3.8blackout 05-27-2006, 12:34 AM Opened link to ebay, read altezza, closed link to ebay [8D]
Lexie Moon 05-27-2006, 02:05 AM So.. is that a no...? lol
3.8blackout 05-27-2006, 02:23 AM aye, that is a no. i would just leave the tail lights you have in there now and just tint them with either a spray or the vinyl stuff you put over them.
Lexie Moon 05-27-2006, 02:26 AM Well that would be alot less money anyways. lol :D Just worry how it will look and how hard it is to prevent the bubbles.
BLK_BeautyandBeast 05-27-2006, 03:45 AM this will help you pick out rims:
