i have a 92 mustang lx 4 cyl. this damn thing is an electrical nightmare. there is a blue box behind the dash, like behind the hvac controls. see pix below. does any one know what the hell this thing is. it beeps everytime the ignition is turned to the on position. PLEASE HELP!!!

yeah thats what i figured...well im rippin off the steering wheel anyway, and removing all the airbag equip. would it have any negitive effect on the rest of the car...i.e. would anything else be effected if the module was removed?

you will probably need to remove the light in the dash, or ignore it but I don't think it does any harm other then making it no longer street legal in some states.

And why is removing the air bag a good idea? Then again my life was saved by an airbag.

because this is not a daily driver...this is a project car to go to the track with.

I just had a good friend pass away because his airbag activated POST-accident.
