I've heard clips from both and I own a Ford Racing(Borla) so maybe I'm biased, but I think the Borla is one helluva muffler especially if you get it for under $200 by buying Ford Racing. I think my muffler sounds as good if not better than the MRT clips I've heard, but I've never heard the MRT at higher revs!

I agree with Quicksilver as I too own the Ford Racing Exhaust (manufactured by Borla) and think it sounds great and is reasonably priced.

I am extremely happy with my JBA. (off topic of sorts) but it only ran me 169 shipped from V6mustangstuff. Very deep rev sound, I was impressed.

For performance I don't think anything can beat the MRT! The JBA/Magnflow/Borla are all basically the same design. MRT uses the Aero Turbine Muffler which is a completely different design (www.aero-turbine.com) I had my doubts about the performance claim that Aero Turbine makes... however my butt dyno said the gains were there so i PAID FOR A DYNO SESSION out of my OWN pocket to verify the gains... The dyno show the gains were there! The MRT made 7RWHP more than a Magnflow at peak HP... more impressively the MRT made like 10 to 12 more RWHP at like 5500+ RPM! Goes to show that the muffler really works as claimed! Remember these gains are OVER a high peroformance Magnaflow, not the stock muffler!!!

To get an idea of how the MRT sounds take a look at this Video: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/CAEEA549-A63D-4152-A396-6CB6CE2F9F1B.htm

Magnafloams are hard core! You want a deep floamy sound that makes other people say "wow, I bet those bad boys are magnafloams"? A sound so deep that windows shatter as you drive by. Magnafloams, in stores NOW!

I have the Borla on my v6 and love it. It dif have a drone until I added the Airaid last week. Sounds very deep but not too loud. Very cool gargle when you let off the gas.

The MRT sounds amazing and you can really tell a difference with it in. Dont let the sound clips fool you. After I put them in the sound was 20 times better than i expected. Had all the mechanics in awww

I can't wait for a newbie here to start a serious new thread; "Where can I get these Magnafloams everyone is talking about?" or "I asked my dealer for Magnafloams and he just looked at me funny."
