Yep, she sure is! Edelbrock carb could use some adjustment(s) from someone who knew what they were doing

. Other then that, and being a bit louder then I like, she runs great. I just put in a toploader 4 speed too. Needless to say, I am having a blast [sm=gears.gif]
The guy I bought her from told me she had a 302. I was extremely happy to discover when rebuilding that it is actually a 1965 289 and heads, however does have a 302 crank and rods.
Here is what was done on the rebuild:
-Balanced engine
-Bored .030 over
-Deck plated & Finish honed
-Torque plated
-10:1 compression
-Block resurfaced to 0(zero) deck height
-Later model 5.0 cylinders & valves
-Port matched cylinder heads and intake w/ gasket
-Edlebrock 650 carb and performance intake
-Larger intake valves (1.84)
-Performance valve springs
-3 angle cut on valve seats
-Bronze guideliners
-Comp roller-tip rocker arms
-Howard's stage 2 camshaft
-3 piece billet timing set
-Mallory uni-light distributer (no points).
-Aluminum water pump
