Hey Guys,
Any suggestion whether automatic transmission is better or manual?

Quick Suggestion
Should I go for V6 premium edition or V8 Basic?
Please advice.

I have an auto because my wife can't drive stick. I would have prefered stick all the way. However, Since I absolutely love my car, I love the auto with it. It is convenient in bumper to bumper stuff. But I still think stick is cooler.

As far as the V8 or V6. Well that is up to you. As Afixer once said, YOU should make that call It was something like that anyway. I am happy as hell with my car. I love it so much. I wanted a GT up until tonight when I was cruising around with my new duals. Now I am just happy with what I have. It's up to you though really. Good luck, I am sure whatever decision you make will be the right one.

depends on what your goals for the car are man. i firmly believe that the 6 is a contender in the tuner world simply cause she has alot of what most tuner cars dont have. Torque. the 6 kicks ass and the 8 will be just as much fun. its really all up 2 you man. whatever you get though, get a 5 speed.

take it for what its worth, but my v6 manual traps just as high as a stock v8 auto here in arizona. I can occasionally even beat them. yes im not stockc, but even with modss, im under the cost of the gt.

Go with the stick, you won't be sorry

As for the GT vs. V6, I love my 4.0

I'd way rather have a nicely optioned V6 than a stripper GT

yep the 6 is just as fun but its up to you. heck i just spent 50 buck to fill up. as far as the auto. again if you dont sit in bumper to bumper and like to shift go stick. dont do it just to dump the clutch and do burnouts. heck i can do burnouts all day long and i have an auto. so basicly do you want the red pill or the blue one! its your choice

Go with the eight for sure. Manual or auto depends on what your uses and intentions for the car are.

I like my stick (does that sound weird or what!), in heavy traffic I sometimes wish for a auto but overall the stick is a lot of fun. As far as the V8 vs V6; in a perfect world I'd go V8 every time, but with gas prices and the amount of miles I put on a car it just didn't make sense, so I went for a vert V6 and am very happy.

Automatics can shift faster than sticks. But sticks are a blast!!
Clutches and sticks are a GEARHEAD thing, seeing Im an Old GEARHEAD, sticks have always been my choice.

they are your decision, but auto vs manual, they auto is somewhat quick, and if you want an auto you can always sport shift it, as for the GT vs V-8, check out your insurance company for that, if they are around the same deffinately go for the V-8, as for gas, that all depends if you have ledititus or not, but a GT will only get a few less mpg then a 6er

these are the question you should be asking yourself for the v8 vs v6 question:

do i want it to be nice and pretty quick, or do i want it to be ok comfortability wise and fast. Optioned out the 6 will be nicer than a standard v8, but the v8 will still be much faster. the easy way to find which one you want is to go drive both. the whole manual vs auto thing is a little more complicated. Have you ever driven a stick? If not, drive a friends or something and see if you like it. If you can't find someone with a stick and you have never driven one, i wouldn't get one. You may like it and you may not, but you don't want to end up spending 20k on something that pisses you off. I personally wanted a stick, and it was really hard to find one with everything i wanted on it so my parents almost let me get a gt because they had three manual gt's on the lot with side air bags...but then my dad drove it and said, "HELL NO!"

Finding manual transmissions are harder to find on cars each year. This helped me make my decision to get a Mustang. With less and less manuals being made, less people will know how to drive them. Thus, les people able to steal your car. Of course, professional thieves will know how to drive them, but the local crack head idiot won't. I personally think manuals are more fun to drive.
