HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!

I would love to see that. I dought that a STOCK cobalt SS will run a low 14 at 99 mph. Front wheel drives suck!
BTW: Isn't this a mustang forum? why dont you go on a cobalt forum?

I've only had the pleasure of racing one SRT-4 and it was on the freeway acouple weeks ago like a day after I put the AEM brute force intake, DiabloSport Tuner and NX kit on my GTO... I figured the guy was modded so I sprayed him it was pretty sad, I think my calculation was off by the time I hit 155mph he was to far back to count the lenths I slowed down to race him without spraying but he wouldn't pull up next to me??? I also raced one of those cobalt SS the supercharged one but that was with the STI I set the torque 90/10 to the rear (50/50 power distribution to the diffs makes it a slug from a roll) needless to say I had at least 5 cars on him by 140mph but he did put up a decent fight till about 115mph (launched at 80mph)

A) Who the **** races to 155mph

B) Your STi must have been modded, from my experience when stock STi's were a close race
from a roll.

What year is your GTO? If it was an 04 the SRT-4 would have given you a good run from a roll.

am i the only one whoe enjoys all these cars? lol

i don't like to bash cars and enjoy seeing more sport cars on the road. it makes it more fun and broadens the aftremarket world to produce more parts/new-better parts to compete with each other.

i also don't believe that people should hate cars cause of the drivers. its always the age. every time i talk to someone thats really young regardless of it being a mustang or srt or cobalt they seem to think they are the sh!t. i have talked to older people at the track with cobalts and srt's and they are all really cool and alot of them have said that they have owned a few stangs over the years.

STFU you homo. I need a slip to even consider believing you running a 13.5 , i might even need a video.
U embarass yourself everyday by getting inside that P.O.S and thinking you're cool. I ddint know both those gay ass cars shared the same worthless motor and same worthless trans and chasis. I dont really pay much attention to shyt cars.

Me too

JK!

Take it easy on the guy. It just what he prefers. You drive a Mustang, he drives a Cobalt. I would mind having a cobalt but it just not one of those cars that I would race.

My is an 04 what do you mean

Who races to 155mph? people who have cars that could get there fast enough thats who!!! it only takes my GTO about 3/4-1 mile to go from 80mph to 155mph

As for the STI its bone stock (other then a turbo timer) everyone trys to make it seem like these cars are slugs from a roll but its just that most owners are tooooo stupid to know how to use the DCCD the STI come equiped with....

Nah, what's REALLY stupid is when you set the DCCD to LOCK and do a 7krpm clutch dump while launching! You will get the most glorious launch ever known to man, but you will also have history's shortest lifespan of a differential

So WRXTrans have you raced your car from a roll before and if you have I'm sure you set the torque 90/10 to the rear right???

Yeah I've played around with the DCCD from both a roll and a stop, but I honestly don't notice that much of a difference. My car pulled hard as **** either way.

I noticed the difference by running the same car twice from a roll (my boy 04 gt) with DCCD on auto I put 2 cars on him from 80-140mph but the it set to 90/10 I put about 3 1/2 cars on him, you could really feel the difference once you go past 130mph... Truth be told I expected these cars to be alot slower from a roll but once you drive one it changes your whole perspective...

Gotcha. I've never experimented with it at that high of speeds. Honestly, I could probably count on one hand the number of times I've gone faster than 100mph on a public road in both my old stage 4 WRX and my "newer" STI.
