The K Man helped me while I was waiting for my car - - - My dealership had NO IDEA what was going on with it and claimed not to be able to get any information, plus Chatty Kathy was wrong most of the time.
I am not surprised though- - - it is the NEW Ford Way.... alienate the current customer because you already have their money, and concentrate on those First Time Buyers! (Cuz nobody who buys from ford today will probably do it again tomorrow!)
His last post was May 16th.. but his profile shows he was on yesterday at 9pm.
At first I though maybe he had family issues that would keep him from getting on.. but seeing that he was on yesterday- - - I am thinking Ford has banned him from posting.
I hope he didn't get into trouble, afterall - what he was sharing with us was propriatary information that is not supposed to be available to the public and Ford very well could be upset with him about that.

That totally sucks! For anyone not familiar with this guy, he single handedly keep us informed of the production status of our cars. He could basically walk you through the scheduling of your build date to the actual delivery info. This guy was a GODSEND to those of us stuck in dealer he!!.
Tim,
If you get the link to the USA today article, send it over to me please!
He did have a couple of enemies - union guys - who posted several times about him using company time and company equipment to do the searches for "us".
It is quit possible one of them turned him in.

He also helped me with my information on my 06, my dealer had no clue. This is a sad day for future ford owners waiting for information on their cars and hearing nothing from ford or dealers.
I hate when a great guy such as him gets silenced by the powers to be. I sure hope he didn't loose his job over this. He has helped me with my original order and to get information on the one that I found on my own. I don't know of any other forum that would help people like he did. It didn't matter if you knew him or not, he still helped people. Ford can take lessons from him on how to provide "Better Customer Service".

Honestly, they 'should' be paying him to use company time and resources to do that. It is a great service to customers and time and money well spent in customer sastifaction. Even though I didn't know about him till now, I would sign any petition in his honor after knowing about all he did now.
Had a guy at DC doing the same thing and they either fired or suspended him when they got wind of it.....the Dodge forum people rallied for him and got him reinstated. It is a shame that good customer service is not mandatory.
What can we do/where can we go to support him? I didn't know of his help, but if I had I would've asked for it because my dealership was worthless when it came to getting information on my build. Seems like Kzinti is the kind of guy to back up, for all our sakes. I'd like to send Ford a clear message that we can always go spend our money elsewhere and we demand good customer service.
Best, -j

After my personal dealings with Ford Motor Company, along with a few others here. It is obvious that Ford as a company truly doesn't care all that much about keeping current customers happy.
And yes - we can - and will - write and call and continue to try to impact Ford. But the bottom line is the people at Ford who have the power to change things will never see or hear what we have to say. Only the messages the under-management want to forward to the upper-management will make it through. Us, as a lowly customer can not call any Executive at Ford direct. Or email him, or write him. as He personally doesn't recieve anything we send. Everything goes through a secretary, guard or some filter to shelter the Executive from hearing what he doesn't want to see or hear.
Such is life - in the Big Corporate World.

If someone has the writing skills to come up with a petition like PW can probably do, I would be more than happy to sign and mail it. We can even have someone who are members of other forums spread the message as well. Maybe we should send them to USA Today and have them give the petitions to Ford.

Hey PULLMEOVERRED
- think you could put another letter together to Mr Giombetti? kinda a form letter type of thing we could cut/paste, print, adlib, you know- just a good businesslike letter for us to copy...maybe best thing to collect up a couple hundred signed letters , bind into a book, and fedex to a few of the big guys, just to be sure it gets noticed. I planned on writing a bunch, but am no good at it...I really think if we could rally the mustang buyers out there, we could get a lot of signatures- I kinda think snailmailing signed petitions we could all cut and paste/printout, along with handwritten note might get something going- I read they view one handwritten letter as typical opinion of 500 that wouldnt take the time to write.
I just cant hardly write to say why Kzinti's help was so great without going of on that stupid friggin thing they call the 'customer resource center' CRC is a pathetic joke- they could save some money by replacing it with a machine that says 'call your dealer'- a parrot voice might at least make it a little comical too...see there I go again :)
if I can find a link to the USA today thing I'll definitely email you- I was kinda thinking about seeing if they would entertain visiting Ford to find out 'why' and see how they could defend it when every person that knew of him got nothing but the best support on earth from him, and it made the screwed up **** CRC and lack of dealer access or concerns all actually kinda fun to sidestep...I'm still hoping MAYBE they pulled the plug because of plans to advance his position to 'official', and able to help everyone with some support staff... guarantee someones gonna, just hope fords 'way forward' dont involve waiting for toyoduh to pick up his lead before ford decides maybe it really does make buyers appreciative...
I wish I knew about this gentleman when I had my ordeal with my dealership. Very little info until I received a call, "uh your GT is here". Hey thanks for the heads up a$$wipe.
I would also like to support this man. I like the idea of sending a letter to USA today, signed by thousands of loyal Ford owners from around the net.
Let us know what we need to do!

Yah get a form put up that we can send via snail mail since it will have more of an impact, and one via email as well to boot. I'd love to show the guys at Ford that this guy is downright amazing.
