Default ’67 Drivers door won

we just go the stang today(67 coupe), went for a ride about an hour and a half ago, ran out of gas, get back homeand I'm stuck in the car! I'm pretty sure I've heard of this problem with the older stangs before in my "Mustangs and Fords" magazines, but i've been getting it for like 6 years, so I don't really want to go looking through all of that . if anyone knows off the top of their head what's wrong, how to fix it, and how to get the door panels off easily, it'd be much appreciated. I do have a haynes manual, but that's a last resort, I know how many steps they always add on or forget to add

Thanks,

if any of the 3 people that have seen this are interested, I found the problem, sorta, the lock is somewhat screwed up and it won't open with the key, you have to get it from the inside and pull the lock handle up and down 4 or 5 times and it'll unlock and be able to open, i guess I'll just have to take the lock apart, hopefully it won't be too bad.

also, here's the stats on the car: '67 mustang coupe, A code 289, edlbrock performer 2 intake manifold, Holley 4bbl carb, long tube 4-into-1headers, dual exhaust with H pipe, street cam and auto tranny, here's a few pics:

In my 65 I can't lock or unlock the doors with the key, I have to push them down and even then thay are a pain. One of the pleasures of owning an older car I guess.
