I want to lower and beef up the IRS on my 03 Cobra...I really want to know about what the best springs and struts to get...I was either debating on getting the Eibach Pro Kit or going with H&R springs...Im not sure on what I want to go with on the struts...I read some guys say that Strange makes a good setup...or QA1, Koni, etc...any advice on that would be great...Im planning on going with 17x10.5 in the rear with some 315's i dunno if any of those setups would help on the looks of that...I like to take my car to the track occasionally also...I really want to get rid of my wheel hop before i go to the track again because the first day i bought my cobra i blew the rear diff cover and that cost me 2,400$ to replace the rear end, so thats brand new and i dont want any wheel hop on it...I hear that MM makes a good bushing kit for that and PHP toe link bars...I dunno whether or not to go with the aluminum diff bushings or poly...i think aluminum would be to harsh on it...I plan on getting the matrix sub system and i bought the billet flow brace and plan of getting the braces...hopefully that will take car of my wheel hop...one more question...I have a JLT, Predator, 2.81 pulley, boost bypass, and cat back...does anyone know what would be safe to launch at with M/T ET Steet DR?

Thanks, Joe

Get a IRS brace and you can get bushings as well that will prevent wheel hop. Im prob going to be ordering that soon. Too many stories of guys breaking rear ends. As far as launching i couldnt tell you.

How much hp are you putting out with that set-up?

The first thing I bought for my 99 was the Steeda IRS brace. Heard to many stories about blowing them out. For suspension depends on what you want to do. Drag or corner. I am running the steeda sport springs with tokico shocks. It rides good and does decent in the corners. Next up for me is bushings for the irs. As far as 315's on 17in rims everything I have read says you can't run them on a cobra because of the irs bolts. Maximum motorsports sells low profile bolts so that you can run a wider tire, but I don't know how big.
