Default Drive shaft loop and oil pressure line?

1st, I would like to know where most of you, if any hang your ds loop? I was wondering because im thinking about putting it as close to the tranny as possible...meaning about 7 inchs back from the spline on the shaft, but im still wondering...

2nd, i bought a oil pressure line last year that was cheesy plastic line and aside from a cooper line is there another...maybe something in the middle?

i have a 83 gt and i put ds loop about 6-7 inches from the tailshaft. i dont think there is another line except for an braided line. iw ould braided or copper. the plastic ones suck. if they break wich they are prone to do do to the high temps it will spray oil every were inside of car. thats is a mess.

I think per NHRA rules it has to be behind the trans, within 6" of the front u-joint. MAy want to double check though.
