Default Duel plug turbo

I am starting a conversion project on a '93 LX. I have a stock 2.3, with 5 speed manual trans. I've pulled a 2.3 turbo w/ wires, computer, intercooler ect. out of a '87 T-bird. Now my question is about trying to run the '93 ignition and duel plug head instead of the '87 with TFI. I know that the switch to the '87 completely would be easy and leave me with factory books to work with, but I don't care for the distributer. It feels like cave man days. Does anyone have suggestions on after market systems to deal with auto timing retard at boost. OR any other ideas to use the best of the '87 turbo parts with the best of the '93 engine parts ?
