Default Cam?

I'm not a real Dumbass when it comes to workin on vehicles but how hard would it be for a joe smo like myself to put in a new cam?

Well you could do it yourself, but you have to have a nice bit of knowledge about mechanics, a decent memory, and a Haynes manual for guidence wouldn't hurt.

well i had my dad put in a racing cam in my 2.3L. He had never put in a cam before... so I guess if you search for some proper instructions you can do it...try www.esslingeracing.com thats where we got our instructions from...if you want maximum power you have to degree your cam as well. there is instructions for that too.

are you a mechanic? if not don't touch the thing. you have to remember the cam on the v6 is in the block, not on it like the 4.6s and 2.3s. it takes sh!t being removed and all day to do a cam. besides, you can also do other stuff when you do the cam, i recommend saving some money and getting a www.supersixmotorsports.com PowerPak for your car. that will give you a big HP gain
