Fuel Injectors !!HELP!! - 5/5/2004 1:36:16 AM    roundman Posts: 4813 Joined: 3/5/2004 Status: offline look closely at the new one to see if the O-rings are prelubricated or not. if they have some grease or other lubricant on them then install them like they are. if they don't, then add a little petroleum jelly around the o-rings to allow them to slide into the locked position in the injector bosses in the manifold. push them in until the base is completely even with the boss in the manifold and then they are in correctly. don't overdo it with the lube, just use a little bit on all the o-rings so they can slip into the grooves machined for them in the fuel rails and the bosses in the manifold. _____________________________ retired and drag racing all I can now that I have the time! 13.533 @ 96.24 mph w/1.780 60', ALL THROTTLE, NO BOTTLE! 13.557 @ 98.24 mph most recentl (in reply to Obsol3te) Post #: 2
