hey man, aight i was in ur situation a while ago. you definatly need to get the double hump tranny cross member or else the dual exhaust will not fit. you will need new motor mounts as well as a new tranny mount. personally, i upgraded to the T5 tranny from a GT and i am just rebuilding it. the rebuild kit was only $159 from d&amp;d transmissions. i was able to purchase a complete parts car for about $800 and that included the engine, the tranny, and every other part i needed for the swap. you will also need the 8.8" rear axle b/c the stock axle on the 4 cyl is only 7.5" and cannot handle the power. you will also need the driveshaft from a V8, the 4 cyl driveshaft is not strong enough. you might need to also use the v8 air conditioning compressor considering that they are located in different spots ( i am not sure b/c i have not decided what to do myself). you will need new headers as well as exhaust. almost everything else is the same btw the 5.0 and the 4 cyl. i may be forgetting some things, but those are some of the parts you will HAVE to change. good luck with the swap! it will be expensive, so watch out.

dont forget brakes. the front brakes on the 4cyl are only 10" and on the 8cyl's there 11" i think. The 4cyl's brakes arent made to handle the power/weight of the 8cyl. So you can either start breaking really earlly or change those out dont forget about the suspension too.

yeah omnecide is right, definatly upgrade your brakes. its a lotta money, but u will appreciate it! i think there is a good cobra 11" kit out for fox bodies. check this site out for some ideas, i havent used them, but ive heard they are good: http://www.p-s-t.com. yeah i know for sure that i am putting new springs on my car when the 306 is in, and possibly new shocks and struts. </P>

what year is the 302? Don't forget the obvious - like the intake, fuel rails, and injectors.
