She needs to be careful. There are alot of nut jobs out there especially in the Chicago burbs so everyone needs to watch out for them (Im not talking about your wife, just the other drivers on the road). Stay safe.

It's actually kinda wierd, 7 years ago she wouldn't drive on a tollway or highway no matter what. Now she IS one of those people you watch out for on those very same roads! She has become the Chicago driver you fear...

That reminds me...when I was driving north through Madison, WI last summer on Rt. 12, there was a oil change place with this huge sign that said, "Oil changes faster than an Illinois driver!"

Exactly! 55mph speed limit means do 85!! If you don't they run you off the road!

you could always dropin a 5.0 HO which sounds hellova lot better than the 4.0 or the 4.6, and its got only a bit more torque than her 4.0, same HP

I can't believe we're 3 pages in and no one has suggested the most obvious solution yet. This is very simple. Remove her birth control pills from the carrier and replace them with candy tablets. I swear to you, in 4 to 7 months thoughts of a GT will be distant memories and you will probably be shopping for a mini-van. Problem solved

Oh that's just so wrong on so many levels! However, we tried that.... that's another thread altogether....

Yea, I didn't get that one either.

Man, you had a old 5.0 LX, I can see why you wished you held on to it. I had a 93 5.0 LX vert, and I kick myself everyday for not holding on to that car.

LOL! Well the secret to having one is to decide you don't want one, then you can't keep from getting pregnant no matter what Our first two were fully planned and we patted ourselves on the back for being so responsible. Then we decided two was enough (the second was a terror when she was little!) I remember we were sitting in a restaurant and a young couple was trying to get a baby to quit crying, and we were saying "Wow, aren't you glad that's not us anymore?" Talk about living to eat some words Yup, along came number 3. But he's shaping up to be a big car and motorcycle nut unlike his sisters The Mustang is not a kid-friendly car, simple things like dropping the kids off at school becomes a chore. The kids really like the Mustang though, they've made me swear not to sell it

You could always trade her car, your car, and her in and get yourself a nice 07' shelby *shrug*
