What is the best position to set a sub box in 90 convertible trunk? Im thinking of using a truck sub box that I have available with (2) 12" JL Audio subs. I have been told that bass is lost very easily in the convert. Where should the speakers face. Some say toward the taillights, some say directly upwards toward the trunk lid and some say toward the inside of the car. I am not trying to achieve "record" breaking bass, just want to utilize what I have for best sound quality. I am planning to run a Kenwood 600 to 800 watt amp. Also, when installing my new cd receiver is there a factory amp on the car that I will need to bypass? If so, where is it located? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
