Convertible with R/stripes
 
anyone have pics of a convertible with stripes down the hood and trunk ??

Here are stripes that came with my car, but I wasn't happy with the quality of them (vinyl) so I had them removed.

R stripes do not look that good on verts...the way the top is shaped it gives a distorted look to the lines that the stripes have....

Those stripes would look silly even on a hardtop. Gap is WAY to big in between and the stripes are too narrow.

I've been considering stripes as well for my convertible. Does anyone have a picture where it is a solid stripe down the middle with a 1" "pinstripe" on each side? Basically it would match the side stripe (except for the word Mustang embedded in it).

My problem with stripes on a cloth top vert has always been the lack of stripes on the top. Looks fine when the top is down, but it looks lacking when the top's up. If only there were hard top verts....
