I have a 98 Gt and i have the five star 98 gt rims (the ones with the split inbetween each of the spokes) neway, i was wandering if i can polish the rims to make them look more like chrome. i believe they are polished aluminum, and i don't know how to do this and whether there is a protective coating on the rims, like a clearcoat that i have to put back on to keep them from coroding.

please help!!
