i dont know how he puts out sorry numbers. The only numbers he has on the thing are stock and then with a t-stat, no mufflers, air filter and a tune. It put down 355 then.

Eh, I had no idea of his numbers. I've just heard he throws out lower than average ones. I don't care, either way. Just fun to see yall argue.

I know, I am having a good time. From what I have seen, heard, and read Nick's numbers are right on par. He is getting it dynoed and tuned tomorrow for the additon of the cam, the lts, and the ud pully. He should be just under 430 hp and around 400 tq to the wheels.

Eh, I've seen stock LS1's dyno 320+rwhp....I'm not as much up on the LS2's, but I'm sure some of them put down over 350rwhp.

The LS1 I know has made that kind of power stock. Very few M6s have made over 350 stock but that was on 93 octane like they are supposed to run. Sidewayz claims 355 with 87 octane and an auto.

Where in the hell can I find 93 or even 92 octane. We pay the highest gas prices in the country here in the SF Bay area and they have the ordasity to call 91 octain super Unleaded.

That sucks! How much is it there? I pay 3.09 per gallon for 93 octane here. 91 is still considered premium though so it is safe to run in your car.

So let me get this straight. The guy on the GTO board in that thread put down 347 right? I said mine made a whopping 8 hp more than his and my claims are outragous? Pack it in guys, it's time for cub scouts.

And BTW 757. I was kidding about the 87 Octane. That car rarely has anything less than 93 in it.

So now you didn't have 87 octane in the car when you dynoed it????? Why is the story changing.

Also he had mods, premium gas and made less than you claim. His claims are believeable. How do you make more stock than he does modded?

actually i'm tired of the "he said this" crap. i have seen c6s barely turn 340 on the rollers stock, which is still really good, but that was with a 6-speed. i am sure if it was retuned it could pull 355 but not from an auto

OK smart ass, seeing as how I was the one basicly running the dyno that day, I can indeed say that Erik (sidwayz) got the wrong dyno sheet. We had bunch of priblems trying to get the printer to work and lots of people either did not get a sheet or go tthe wrong one. Our fault fro trying to dyno 25-30 cars in one day.

Further proof that you should not be in this disussion. Vettes dyno lower due not only to thier IRS (yes I know the GTO has IRS as well) but ALSO the torque tube type drive shaft the car has.

FWIW my car (which was a 6 speed at the time) put down 393 hp (uncorrected) and 377 (corrected) on the same dyno, not ten minutes before Eriks car. I honestly can't believe you guys are all arguing about how much hp the car made and wheather a 12.9 is possible from the car, I guess the torque that the LS2 makes means nothing at the track right? The car hooks up well, for a stock car, and has been in the 2.0's 60 foot. 757 please try and argue with me about having been there and seen this for myself, I know that in all your 21 odd years you know everything, but give me a break, just because you have not seen it does not make it untrue. You are aware that things like D/A, track conditions etc. can play a big role in how well a givin car runs right? BTW I was also there when the GT ran 13.9. Whats funny is that if I had said that a stock 99 GT could never run a 13.9 you guys would be all over me, saying "it's rare but it does happen". Just like the odd 12.9 from a stock LS1 never happend (even though GM HighTech Perfromance got one to run 12.8's) but I am sure that it never happened right?

Nobody is saying that the LS1 can't run a high 12 on rare occasion. Also a 2v GT can run high 13s on rare occasion. I still find it hard to believe his car dynos sooooooooo much higher than everyone elses and he runs regular gas. He also ran absolutely perfect times in his GT and better than anyone else and higher traps than everyone else on the GTO board in his GTO. I am done with this. You guys can claim whatever you want.

No your buddy claimed that no auto 2v can run 14.4, I stated that it could and then he stated that he can run 13.9 stock in a STOCK 2v Vert. Also if I jacked the thread Moderator sidewayz could have put it back on track but he didn't. I hope he gets the same treatment as me.
