67 GT gas cap, I learned something today
I took a chance on two used 67 GT gas caps on Ebay. They were both crap and not usable but...I learned that you can take a stock pop off gas cap and use the GT emblem on it. Just use a drift pin punch from the back and knock out the emblems and swap them out. The holes line up perfectly. Then just use a center punch to peen the studs from the bock so the emblem stays on. First pic is the two used caps on the left and the one with the swapped emblem on the right.
