Default 2 quick questions

ok i have 2 quick questions here. first is about quad shocks in the rear. do they really help? i have a 4 cyl right now so i am not sure if it is over kill. (soon to be a v8 next summer) and my next question with the rear ends. the stock rear end on a 93 stang is a 7.5 right? i have been hearing alot of people and sites say it is really an 8.8. so what one is it? if it is a 7.5 how much fab work would be needed to drop an 8.8 or 9 in its place?

stock rear in a 93 is a 8.8 you can take your quad shocks off. they help reduce wheel hop, but a good set of control arms will do away with the need for them

i dont know if you even have enough power to spin the tires (no offense) but it will make the car handle like crap, but you're probly looking for weight transfer so yeah it will help.
when you put the 5.0 in it it will need aftermarket controll arms if you arent using quads as it will wheel hop badly, which will tear your boxes apart.

93 5.0 mustang has an 8.8, 4cyl would have a 7.5'

it was just the oposite when we took them off my friends notch and my other friends 86 hatch, both cars did nothing but wheel hop....

also if i dump the cluch at 3k it does a nice 1 legged burn out.

one more thing does all gts come with posi rear ends? if so do they have 2.8x gears?
