I never see mention of changing the pinion snuber in the discussions of lowering. I have sportlines and Strange 10 way schocks/struts (bought it this way). The car just crashes over bumps (in rear) and adjusting the schocks helps little if at all. If the pinion snubber was stock, which by the dirt it appears to be, could that negatively affect the ride quality? If it needs to be replaced, what should I use? Thanks in advance.

The pinion snubber is only in use when the car bottoms out completely... Its a last resort item in your suspension...

If your car is too low, and you feel that it is bottoming out (hitting the pinionsnubber/bumpstop), then you may want to get a shorter one.

If after you replace your stock bumpstop, the problem does not go away, I'd steer towards the shocks as the culprit...
