I think I will be "ThatGuy".... I have a 99 VR4..bone stock down to the paper filter I ran a 13.4 @ 101.. After Changing the exhaust, downpipe, intake(K&N), and setting the boost to 15lbs I was able to squeek out a 12.8 @106 (my 60ft was a 1.71 though) Yes, they are fat, heavy cows, but they can be fast...Getting into the mid 12's is extremely easy and cheep.
Last time I raced a mustang was an 04 GT with full exhaust, intake and chip..From stop, roll, barely roll, I won...not even close but I don't have stock turbos or fuel anymore either lol....
Unless he does a 5000 rpm clutch dump the AWD is not going to help him much. Most people with AWD are too scared to really launch thier cars. You should win pretty easy.
+1, I bet he bogs it down when he races you, it takes a little time to learn to slip the clutch with awd.

this should be a good race if he is a somewhat decent driver. those vr-4's do crank from a dig thoe so watch out and good luck.
Also I would not be surprised if he doesn't even get one at all. it is extremely hard to find a cheap vr-4 that doesn't have a ton of stuff wrong with it. I know from experience.
