Default I need advice

I have a 91 GT Mustang. I am looking to make it quick. Would it be easier to buy a crate motor or to just build one. I dont have too much money though. Also what kind of wires and plugs r u guys going with

id use nkg plugs and plug wire...msd's, magnacores those are pretty nice. Motor wise, id go w/ a 351w seriously. Forget the 5.0 crap. Get one from some place that builds them. I know you can get a full turn key one for 5g's that has like 500hp and 500tq

I think I read that Steeda came out with some 10.4mm plug wires that have the lowest ohmage ratings. Cant rememver if it was them though.

It would be easier to buy a crate motor, but it would be cheaper to build one yourself I F you know what you're doing.

Usually crate engines have already been tested (the combination of components I mean....to work well with each other) -- If you were to build one, you will either have to imitate a known working one (component-wise for synchronization) or test (trial and error) till you get a good combo.

Sometimes paying to let the pros do it pays off in no headaches, but sometimes the challenge and accomplishment of doing it oneself is worth and lifetime memory/satisfaction.

So think about it, do research and then decide what you think will be best for you.

If it is a 351M, you might as well toss it in the garbage. 351 Windsor is what you want. 351M and 400 motors are boat anchors. And bad ones at that.
