i have 110,000 miles on my 96 cobra. I feel she should be a bit faster. is there a pretty good chance my imrc"s need cleaning? as far as i know they have never been touched.

yeah after 110,000 youve prob got some serious carbon build up...instead of cleaning them, just yank them...you wont notice a diff in bottum end, but you will in top end...they are notorious for failing anyways, so while you have the intake off, just get rid of them!

I heard that removing them will hurt down low on a n/a car. How do i know if they are not working properly. And if they are not do you think i will feel a difference performance wise. I always thought my car should feel a bit faster.
