Default A-arm question...QA1

Hey i dont have my arms yet but i bought them from jegs and i was wondering, this maybe stupid but i just want answers, how do the a-arms support the coilovers? In the picture it just looks like its a open a-arm with no spring cups or anything. I know the picture is not a good judge ment but i am a litle worried....or stupid can someone explain or tell me whats up?

don't hold me to this but i thought that the coil over's are basically a strut with a spring attached directly to it. therfore there wouldn't need to be a spring perch because the whole unit would mount to the spindle like the original strut does..... my thoughts.

Yep, spring goes over the strut in a coil over setup, so there's no reason for there to be any spring perch in the a-arm itself.

Obsol3te is right. If you want to run your stock setup, some companies offer a seperate piece for the a-arms that makes a place for the spring.
