Default B or C Springs On 1996 Convertable

Would it be better to get the B or the C springs for my 1996 Gt Convert. I like to drive the car, and handleing is a huge factor to me, but the main reason for these is to get rid of my 4X4 stance on the car. I am running 275/40/17 tires and it needs to fit over these. I am a semi poor college student and want to do the install by myself, is this possible?
