Default Winow tints

Hi all, I've made appoitment to get windows tinted this Friday. Here in Missouri, the legal tint is 35% for driver and front passenger, and not restriction on back and rear window. The tint shop told me they do alot of 20% all around with out any problems. I work for the gov, so I really need to try and stay within the legal limits as much as possible. I've noticed lots of stangs with the darker tints, even the 5% limo tints. I will probably go with the 35% tint all way around. What do you all think?

ive done 5% on the back window... and then 20% on all 4 driver/passenger side windows... and i live in jersey where cops ride your ass for every single minor thing on your car and ive yet to be pulled over for my tint...... 20% would be grt all around

here are some pics of the 20% if you can tell...

honestly, 35% wont make a noticable difference and isnt worth the time and money, a lot of cars and suvs have 35 stock and you barely notice it. I have had several cars tinted..... And would suggest 5% I love it and it completely changes the look of the car...... but if you want to be conservative go for 20% all the way around and a 6 inch 5% dark strip across the front.....That will be noticably dark..... but shouldnt attract cops. and remember any car that you see on the road that u actually notice is tinted is probably illegally tinted any way.....plus you'll get the same ticket whether its 34% or 5% so u might as well go all the way

I have 30%. Any darker and it's a pain in the a$$ to back up at night. IMHO 35% makes a heckuva difference over no tint at all.

Mine was made by Global Films and has no metal in the tint. To me, it looks better than metal based tint and has the same lifetime warranty against peeling, bubbling, or fading.

6% percent all around baby!!! Looks so dark the windows match my black body panels I couldnt be happier with how it turned out!!

Gonna suck if i get pulled over, as long as the cop is not and as and doesnt slice slice my tints I will just pay the $75 tint tax.

Anyone have any pictures of 5 to 15% tints? I'm thinking about settling for 20% all around, but very tempted to go darker.

Let me just say...I admire that statement. All too often, the opposite seems to be the case.

You'll get the same ticket true, but a car with 5% tint is much more likely to be noticed by police ticketed then a car with 34% tint. Anything lower then say 20% all around is asking for trouble IMO.

I have 25% all around and love it, dark enough but not so much that it stands out. Whatever you do though, get the tint even all around, else it looks all bookey.
