I'm looking for a custom box to house x2 12" JL Audio W3v2 for my 2005 V6 Coupe. I'm cuurently using a generic box, and I would like to find a custom box to save a bit of space. Any suggestions?

Kind of an oxymoron saying "I've got 2 12's but I don't want to take up alot of space." But here's what I've done for other customers in your situation where you want lots of bass for not alot of room. Have a box built which will slide against the back seat and be the height of the trunk floor to the rear deck. If you make the box sealed, then the leftover space will be about a foot to a foot and a half back from the taillights and the entire width of the trunk. If you really want it to look good, also panel off the box to make an artificial wall in the trunk for the woofers to sit behind - Makes it look like a normal trunk, only smaller.

This is of course if you have the coup. If you have the convertible, you're screwed.

Thanks for the suggestions. Given the equipment, I understand that it will be taking a lot of space no matter what I do. However, I'm looking for a custom box that would sit against the back seat (as you've described). I am interested in the space saved using this type of box vs. my current enclosure.

Also you said you have a generic box and your looking for a custom box, not really much we can do for you except tell you to go to a local shop and have them build you a custom box. If there was a custom box you could buy from a store or something, wouldn't be very custom now would it?

Actually, I've seen custom enclosures for various model cars (i.e - that they are built "custom" for the make and model). In fact, my brother just purchased an enclosure built specifically for his 300Z. In short, what I'm looking for is a custom/off the shelf enclosure built specifically for my make and model. I hope this clarifies my question. I'll keep researching. Thanks for the input.

Thanks..exactly the kind of enclosure I'm looking for. I'll have to double check the specs., but I hope my subs will fit.
