The Trans Am dude is on this forum. (Clubgp.com) and he runs mid 10's without nitrous. And he was encouraged to say a lot of the things he said and they twisted his words around a lot. Don't know if its true or not.

I agree. I am a single male and I still know that family comes first. That is really irresponsible on his part and I personally think his wife aught to pack up and roll till his s**t is straight, pregnant or not!
I'm not usually an advocate of when wives take all of a guys **** in a a divorce, but she should cut the chord and force him to sell his cars and take all of his money. A loser like him gives the rest of us a bad name. What kind of scumbag spends all his money on his car, puts his wife and stepson and unborn child to the back burner? Not to mention putting his wife in danger by racing with her crying for him to stop. I'd love to see him die in a car crash so that she can sell his cars and cash in on his pathetic life.
I'm kinda playing devil's advocate but, didn't any of you read the first of the video? He blaintantly said that program took clips of what he said and manipulated things. Pretty much he said they lied. I don't know what's true and what's not, neither do any of you.
You know it looked as if that reporter twisted alot of things there . Also they was sitting in his 3 car garage, apartments dont come with that. And i only saw 1 TA . So she probally drives a brand new car .They made him sound like a bad Dad and bad husband, so he street races ! People are so fast to cast judgement when media is trying to get people involved. I bet some of you belive everything you see! Sure hes a idiot for driving on street that fast but im sure alot of you have street raced and if you say no then your either lieing or Dont own a fast enough car. She said herself she wouldnt ride in his car then they said she was pregant and got out crying. I bet it was a 1 time deal she was talking about. So he is guilty of street racing and spends to much into his car but alot of people do that and she didnt look starved nor did he kinda fat if you ask me. He has taken care of his family it looked like to me. Maybe she should leave him,who knows its not none of our business to judge there marriage and family, but what is our business is when people drive and put our lives on the line for a street race. So when you reply to this just ask yourself if you have ever raced one time ever on the street and then ask your self is your hotrod just build to go to the track? Cause if thats the case you dont own a street car no more and whats the point in building a Hot Rod ,what?? TO DRIVE SLOW AND DO THE SPEED LIMIT hugh!! The point is he takes his car out and blatantly street races when he has a wife and unborn child at home. The video proves it, what his WIFE SAID proves it, whether they edited or not, she still said it.
He is irresponsible and needs to get his priorities straight.
If they twisted his words and made him look bad, why not take legal action against the show? or NBC? or do something but try to make yourself look better with your own video?
I don't know....or care. It's his life, let him **** it up the way he wants. Like I said, I was just playing devils advocate. He still has a kickass car.

I have no kids but understand where you are coming from but me and my buddies go out into the sticks here to run.In fact you cant even park in a parking lot here on the main strip without the cops coming up and everything but do a cavity search.
Yeah i wont lie a friend last year was killed in his T/A but that was his fault because he wasnt ready for this car!
He also hada mustang that another friend bought off his parents and it is no joke either.
My whole outlook on it is go to the country where if you lose control like my buddy you go into a cornfield not an inncoent person.

Being military and knowing how the media can seriously turn things around. This kid is still young but the story does not tell all and it seems it is very twisted. The wife definately didn't do him any justice. But it seems they manipulated her to say certain things so they can edit into what they want it to say. no matter what anyone says, the media is 90% lies and 10% twisted truth. As long as they make their ratings. Hopefully nothing happens to this kid before he gets his head out of his rectum. But I agree with the lot of you who think he is very stupid and irresponsible. Being a father of two, I will play around on the streets even with the family in the car but usually an off-the-line game but that's it. Having my life in danger for my country is one thing, not for my EGO-TRIPPED-HORMONES. These kids need to find a track. They put $$$$$$$ into their cars but don't want to wait a day or two or spend $5 in gas to get to the track, in my case, $20, but keep it to the track.

What really happened What the media tells you
I live in a 4 bedroom, 3 garage house with my wife and kid. I live in a small, ghetto apartment because I put all my money into my car...above the needs of my wife and child.
I raced with her in the car once or twice, and she seemed upset about it. I raced going speeds of 120+ with my pregnant wife begging and screaming for me to stop.
I do not have a savings for my child. It probably won't be a problem, and he's not born yet. I blew all my childs college savings on my car, because that's what a sick father I am. My family cannot eat, and I can't pay bills because I have to make my car faster.
I like to race now and then. It's like an addiction, a disease...I can't help myself. My wife sits at home by herself wondering if I'm going to make it home tonight.
I've probably spent a couple thousand on mods. I've spent $90,000 on mods, and am currently throwing $2500 a month at it.
The media bends things out of proportion. The media is always right, how dare you say such a thing!
very true ricekiller. I was discussing this with my wife and we thought about real prostock door slammers. They are only valued around $100-105k when complete and running and those are 6 sec cars. if he's got $90,000+ in it why isn't he racing for John Force or Warren Johnson or Bob Glidden? something to think about.

i would have to say that this is a load of crap if i put 90,000 into a car any car it would defanitly be a 7 second car, i would say all the wana be rodders on that clip were full of SH!T. how does any person that on a limited income put 90,000 into a car. and to put 90,00 into a car and not race for money.

Jesus dude, how can you NOT pay attention? he's put 90k into THREE DIFFERENT CARS...not just the TA.

She shouldn't have married him if she knew he was so obsessive. Media twists things like crazy but if the bad stuff was just a little true that guy should be de-balled. He's not in love with his wife if he spends every spare dime he has on that car. Love=Sacrifice. My dad knew when it was time to put the motocycles and hotrods away, what if he had've died and left three kids and a wife behind to fend for themselves!? Wouldn't have been very easy. His kids and his "permanent" life should be more important. Earthly material things can be gone in a milisecond, but so can people. It depends on how u look at things, above all I hate the media, a lot of them BSers

I say its all a buncha crap!!! the cars worth probably 30 to 40 grand and he probably makes 100+ a year so im sure the family is being supported just fine. Its stupid to street race thats going without saying. The old lady just needs to get a million life ins policy on him and send him out more often. I dont wish for anyone to get hurt or die but if I was in his shoes I would get the policy for my wife and kids just because I know at any time something could happen.
