I'm new here, but I've been reading the forums for about 2 weeks now. Seems like a great place with a lot of experienced and helpful people. Very mature unlike other forums out there.
I just recently got an 02 Mustang GT (5-speed) from the Statesville Auto Auction of NC, and I've never really owned a "performance" car. My first car was a Jeep GC (auto), until it was totaled by some idiot. So, my dad bought me this car with the insurance money I was given and I didnt really care what I got, but I'm pretty much happy with it. Wasnt expecting him to get a Mustang GT! The car also has some aftermarket stuff already put on. Don't know if the gears have been changed? This is also my first manual car, so I don't know much about what to look out for when it comes to clutches, synchros, bearings, etc....all that good stuff.
I do have a couple of questions and some things that I'm concerned about, so I'll ask those in the 4.6L forum.
I'm a sophomore at the University of North Carolina @ Charlotte and there are TONS of Mustangs here on campus, but if anyone out there on these forums is in my area or if there are any Mustang car clubs, I could definitely use some help in inspecting my car for any problems that need to be fixed soon before they become huge!
