Default '06 GT vs buddy's '03 M3?

A friend of mine has a 2003 manual M3 that's bone stock. I'll be putting on the C&L CAI and 91 oct. tune this week from Evolution Performance and we'd probably have a run this weekend. Other than the CAI and tune I'll be stock. Thing is, he's not the best manual driver but I'm still curious to see what my chances are. Thanks

James

You'll beat him. Just to make it fair, you should switch cars after a couple of runs so he knows it's not just his driving skills.

you should win that race, tho it will be close if your only mod is the intake and tune. e46 m3's run mid/high 13s with much ease, and good drivers can dip VERY low in the 13s with them. if you want the advantage, go from a dig because bimmers are notorious for not having drag suspension lol

lol a stock m3 from a stop doesnt know what "no traction" means..the car is so well balanced that it will hook and go from a stop and chances are you will loose if he is ok at driving.

It would be pretty close i think (drivers race), but they are very top end cars...red line at like 8,000. So im guessing ur best shot is from a dig.
