LOL! Glad to help, I want one too!

Harry, the pic Afixer posted is the prototype unit. There will be an intake and conical filter that goes with the production unit, the factory airbox won't be used.

I know the feeling. I didn;t sleep past 4am the entire week my car was in the shop getting the s/c installed -- not alot on TV at that time of day - LOL

Super by me is now @ 3.20 / gallon! That's the only drawback - but worth the extra $3 a tank for the smile you'll be getting

Somewhere around 315+ rwhp on a Dynojet... but then again that's just a number and dyno's are really just for tuning. I'm lookin @ 1/4 mile times -- but I got to get it to the track!! Hoping for then next few weeks to have some free time ( or take a day off )

what are the benefits/drawbacks from the roots type compared to a centrifugal?

i like the look of the roots type plus the lack of lag, not to mention the ease of swapping pulleys to increase/decrease boost.  plus it gets rid of that hideous plastic intake manifold. i have never liked the "kink" in the intake portion to the vortech blower. seems like it blocks the intake path and if there was a way to have the bend not to go from a 3" intake to a 3" by 1.5"intake back to the 3" intake  into the blower, it might be more effective.

screeminyellin, 315whp? what psi and what other mods? if my math is correct youre around 400 at the crank...sorry but its kinda hard to believe unless youre near 15psi or 9psi w/a bottle...

they had a group buy and sold like 20 of them. we have 2 guys right on the 299 hp edge and thats on mustang dynos. easy to install power is plenty for fun. and repectasble at the track. we installed 3 at my house a while back in nine hours for all three.

I would get an X Charger if it came down in price. It costs about the same as a High Ouput Vortech but creates less power......i don't think it's worth spending $4000..........
