Hey, the SVO's had rear disks right? Would an SVO rear end bolt into my GT if I could find one at a junkyard?

The GT's came with 2.73's and I think there was one other over the years. 3.55's sound right for the SVO's. It's something I might look into though since I'd really like rear disks but it would be nice to find a cheaper way of going about it. I can do brake lines without a problem, I'd just need to pick up a flare tool for myself. I'll have to talk to the guy at a salvage yard for stangs around here, he's got an SVO and he might have other ones or parts there.

the 84 SVO's had 3.45 Traction-Loks while the 85, 85.5, and 86 had 3.73 Traction-Loks. the Axles shafts are a different length as well... you put an SVO rear end on with regular rims and they will stick out of the fender wells...
