Well obviously the bloated price tag on the PJ's has more to do with their exclusivity than their performance stats. I would venture to guess that you could procure an 07 Saleen S281SC for the same price that would probably outperform the PJ Edition.
But if Saleen, or Ford, produced this car with a mid 30's pricetag............I'd be all over it.
Placed my order for a Parnelli Jones Limited Edtion Mustang on October 12th through Frontier Ford and GM Mike Z in Anacortes WA. what a class act he is. One of the top 5 Saleen Dealers in the US. The PJ blows the Shelby right off the shelf. Took the PJ rather than the Red Shelby sitting outside his office. Better more authentic looks, better handling and better long trem investment as a collector car. 500 vs 25,000 units to be built. No contest baby. No price gouging either !!!
