Default '85 GT ignition problems?

My 85 GT is not running right, it's almost like it is missing, but it idles fine. The power used to kick in hard around 4k, but now it just kind of sputters and doesn't rev out. I checked plug wire connections, and found the #1 wire slightly loose. I cleaned the plug and reinstalled it, and it ran the same, though it miraculously seemed to fix my tach (temporarily) The plug wires are fairly new, and it has a msd 6a ignition with a blaster coil.
