Our area got hit with a hail storm last night. I have one of those weather radios so I new it was coming so I had some time to prepare. I got the car cover out and tucked my baby in. My boyfreind owns a black GT and doesn't have a car cover. We were out in the worst of it holding blankets on his car. We lucked out, he only could find 2 small dents on the hood and one on the roof. My car didn't get any damage. I guess the storm weakened alittle by the time it got over my area because the hail was marble size.

That's my worst fear. Me and the wife left our vehicles out in a hail storm a few years ago. $13,000 damage. It was the one night we didn't park in the garage.
Someone makes an impact resistant car cover. It's four layers of hard coated fabric. Probably would stand up to marble sized hail but not much bigger. I'm thinking about getting one so I will have it when I'm at work.
I was thinkin about gettn a car cover to put over my car too, but the people around here are very jealous. I think if i put a car cover on my car in a public place their will be people who will take it as i'm better then them and key my car or worse.
