Just curious if any one has had any problems with the s281? I blew the motor yesterday in mine it only had 20k. It was making 12 lbs of boost, dont know if that is stock or not. Dont want to turn it in for warranty without knowing if its stock. Literally bought it yesterday and blew it up my such luck.

Give me your 2 cents.

ask the previous owner....if i had a S281 i wouldnt do much to it though, especially anything drastic with only 20k miles on it.

well I would look around for a stock pulley and put it on before going to have warranty work

DLRPLATE, what year is it? That car made around 7 psi stock, so on a stock tune I could see why 12 psi would cause a connecting rod to go. (im guessing that's what happened)

10 is fine, as long as the tune is decent.

tune as in getting the a/f ratio right achieved through a custom chip, or a MAF tuner- which is my preference...
