Hey there, I am entering my 84 SVO in Hot Rod's Drag Week. It is for the most part stock, except for a larger turbo, throttle body, intercooler, and some intake and head port work. The car ran a best of 13.2 on radial drags before we bought it, and I would like to get it going a bit faster.

Anyone know what size slick will fit the factory wheel well?

Have any good suggestions to shave off a few pounds temporarily? (the car is a daily driver so I need to keep her going back together after I'm done)

Or does anybody have any good ideas on how to pull some more reliable speed on the cheap, besides just kicking the boost up.

Also if anyone has some good parts we would be happy to buy them from you if we think it might help our effort.

Thanks guys, we're looking forward to getting your help!

hey man the intake tube connecting the turbo to the intake filter is flimsy and cave's in at high boost so you can replace that wiht something a little more hard rather than that plastic rubber **** your good to turnn your boost up a bit shave off acouple seconds.... antoher thing you can try is on your drive train there is a weight where it connects to the transmission that ins't needed just adds weight pretty much.. they say taking off apound on your drive train is like taking 20 punds on the inside yof your car... see how that works let me no....
