RE: OVERDRIVE!!!
Leave it on... It does nothing if you have the go pedal down...

RE: OVERDRIVE!!!
(atleast on my car) when i have the overdrive on, it knocks my rpm's down on average 1000rpms, hence saving me probably a lot of gas.

RE: OVERDRIVE!!!
overdrive is meant for cruising at higher speeds hence higher rpms like say on the highway. You'll be driving say at 3000 or 3500 rpm, throw (o/d off) on and watch the rpm's drop which will save you on gas because the engine is doing less work

not if youre not worried about how fast you accellerate. i dont know about other cars, but i can sometimes see my overdrive kickin in as low as 35mph.

yes it goes in around 35, but its always shifting between third and O/D so unless i go over 50ish i usually just turn it off

RE: OVERDRIVE!!!
if you have a steady foot it shouldn't downshift (unless there's a crapload of wind or something)
