so, as many of you know, my car was recently vandalized due to an attempted burglary...well, i finally got my car back today around 5:45pm. i got back to my apartment, came inside, and took a shower to get ready for my night class. when i got out of the shower, i went outside to smoke a cigarette and my door was wide open.
damage:
busted out drivers side window
shattered windshield (dont know why)
dent in door
busted out center console
scratched up interior
stolen:
$1200 in dash pioneer dvd player
passport 8500 radar detector
xm satellite radio head unit
sorry guys but i think my car is seriously cursed...i was gonna install a video camera tonight and point it at my car but didnt even have time to do it...had to be someone here at the apt b/c i couldnt have been home for more than 45 minutes before it was broken into...gonna put it back in the shop tomorrow to get fixed and selling it afterwards...possible purchase of older cobra or lightning...
anybody want a cursed 05 GT???

Seriously though, that sucks. I"d get the law involved and everyone in that apartment complex would officially be on my s**tlist. Cuz there's no way someone could do all that and nobody saw anything.
my alarm automatically goes off after a minute and a half (ford factory code alarm) and i was in the shower. i know the alarm did go off though b/c it said security event occurred in the information panel under the speedo.
my dad's really good friend is a lawyer here in houston and he said that he was gonna do whatever he could to make the apt complex pay for the damage this time and make them get better security
honestly, i live in a really nice apt complex. we have another 06GT, 2 06 corvettes, porsche 911, 350Z's, escalade's, etc. it is the nicest complex in the area and that is probably why they are hitting this complex. people are just following in other cars through the gate and driving around and stealing ****.

Bro I am so sorry to hear this. I am a firm believer that no matter how bad someone pisses you off you never ever F&k with there ride not matter what it is. Sound to me like whoever hit you last time was waiting for you to get it fixed and hit you again. By the way did you piss off a girl recently???
God I hate scumbag lowlifes that pull this crap. I had to install cameras in front of my house due to the same kind of thing.
I would get in touch with all the other owners of those nice cars and let them know what is going on and that way you can all kind of keep and eye out for each other.
