About your question, I would stay away from neon lights period. Thats just me, No matter what application you put em on they just seem too ricy to me

i agree; I wouldnt put neons on a mustang...but if you really want neons then i think the blacklight/black car combo would be a pretty cool combo. Don't go with red whatever you do, you cang et ticketed for that because they are the same color as emergency lights. I think blue looks good under black cars too.

yeah i definitely like it.......i have noticed a significant difference in the response of the car.....the accelerator is much more sensitive than it was stock.... i believe

as far as overall HP gains, i can tell a little bit in the lower RPMs, but dont expect SC gains lol......the torque has increased as well..... but here's my deal:

i came back from a week long trip where i didnt drive at all........ then the day i got back i installed the intake and tune.... so by the time i got to drive my car again (with the new mods) i had forgotten what it was like to drive it stock lol........ so as for the stock----> mods comparison, i dont have a whole lot to go on cuz i cant remember lol.

if i were u i would do it though!!!! good mod

whats the difference from him customizing his own mustang than other putting on a whole GT body kit. Its your car and do what you want to do with it. There are some things that make a car ricey(spelling) neon lights have nothing to do with rice. i know where your coming from. Your very ol' school. If you havn't noticed most of the people here havn't put body kits on their stangs or if they have it was from shelby. Most people are putting chin spoilers, louvers and hood scoops. Which are not ricy by any means. it just depends on what type of body kit it is.

thanks... the footwells are really NOT that bright in real life.. and the dash accent... I get almost 100% POSITIVE feedback on the dash accent! There is a very nice grove right there where that cable fits right in... Even the hardcore, old-school Mustang guys I've shown it to like the dash light... LOL!

For the record, I very rarely have them on... They are only on when the car is parked at a late night car show... LOL! I do not drive around with them on... Oh... and I'll turn them on in the driveway and set it to blink to entertain the kids... LOL

A 2005 GT in my area would have cost me $8,000 MORE than my V6 cost me! PERIOD. And then best part is I'm not "keeping up" with V8 mustangs... I BEATING THEM.... in some cases BADLY! LOL!!! We were in Orlando last month for FFW... I carefully watched the stock 2005+ GT's running 13.7 to 14.0... while my car was 13.3 to 13.4... LOL!

...just went to your site, and quite frankly...I think it might look even better during daytime. It makes a good accent to the black dash. Myself, I like the black dash over the IUP dash...but, it is a bit monotnous. The chrome accents break it up a bit, but there's something to be said for body-color accents (I, for one, love it on the T-Bird interior).

Different strokes for different folks.... What ever floats your boat...

Yep... I get a lot of complients in the daytime too... and like I said it fit right in that grove so it's set back in there so it is actually flush with the dash... like it belonged there! LOL!

Oh hell yea, another one of these. Well, I'm a huge fan of the old notch backs, in fact I'm shopping for one as a dedicated off road track car. However, I have to back Scrming up here. Like him, I had no intention of making this car go fast, and it just started, like a whirlwind. Also, my area is similiar to his, 8K+ mark up on GT's. Now hindsight 20/20, I could have driven down to po-dunk and gotten one for cheap....waited 6 to 8 months, but I don't like to wait.

Now, here is the best part. I spank V8's at the track, and I get support/props from my GT/Mach1/Cobra big brothers doing it. Last weekend, I was parked with all the street mod stangs and they were all very cool, and very supportive. Only one guy made a V6 comment, until he found out I ripped off a 13.6 over his 13.9. All the others never once said, why didn't you get the 8. They were all like, man, you are beating V8's and ripping off great times in that 6 banger pony. The seasoned guys were like, yep, I knew the new 4.0's were show some good numbers at the track. Besides, the GT has teh same problem we have, hyper pathetic pistons, so at 450rwhp, the GT has to be reworked at some point.

That is where I really get pumped up about this car. Sure, a 12 second or low 13 second GT, Firebird, Cobra, Mach1, etc. We see that all the time at the track. A 11, 12 or even 13 second 6, people come to watch that. Kinda like when we get our asses handed to us by a STI!

The people that get into this sport, its not just about starting off with a Cobra or Mach, its about making thier ride faster, learning how to drive, and just plain having fun. The 6 is not in the same class as the GT, its a different class car. It's different, it's a different way of going about it. Nothing wrong with that. I'm addicted to this, its a rush!!!!!!

Wow, what a rant, I meant to only post a few lines. Anyway can't we all get along, we are stangs, lets go bash on some imports or somethin.

If you put a body kit, neon lights and a exhaust does not make you a ricer. If you do that to a Civic it does not nessecerily make you a ricer.

If you take care of it, don't attach over 40 brand name stickers on the side of your car, keep it nice and clean and don't cut the catylac (sp?) converters off [DAMN FART EXHAUSTS ><]. Your not a ricer.

Theres a huge difference between customizing [Scrming.] and ricing [Any general Japanese car owner with 250 brand stickers on their cars including the 40" exhaust pipe sticking out of their ass.

You CAN'T rice out a american car. Cuz we nigguhz know. :/ You can make it ugly. But Scrmings mustang is far from ugly. Sides I've appreciated his work ever since he's signed up on the forums and has informed us on the things he bought and done.

93BlackNotch. Dont speak if you don't know what your talking about. A REAL MUSTANG OWNER would glorify his mustang and not customize it, mod it in any way but add over 5lbs of wax and cleaning materials on their exterior.

Or he'd restore a old 67' Shelby.

Will_C I like the black lights under the black car. :] Purple has always been my favirote color anyways. If you feel like you want it [if anything even need it] Then go for it. There will always be people who will appreciate or dislike it.

Its your choice how you want to customize it.

Will, I totally DISAGREE WITH YOU:

1. American cars can be riced out i.e. focus, srt-4 thats all i can think of know but those are the most popular American cars to the import tuner crowd.

2. Any car can be riced out, just ad stickers, B-52 wing on the trunk, a fart can, or NEON LIGHTS UNDER THE CAR!!!!!

3. A Mustang can be riced out, all you have to do is put a ricy body kit on it, Gigantic wing, or a fart can.

Remeber, any car can be placed in the RICE category. Be WARE!!!!!!!

Will, don't use any form or deration of the N word. Its is very offensive to me and a lot of African Americans.
